Anna in Pomona #throwback #80s #scrunchies

I decided to create a separate post featuring Anna for this look only. I mentioned previously I’m a big fan of recycling fashion and so whenever someone finds an item from their parents' or relatives’ closet and decides to put their own twist to them, I get super excited. I think part of it is that I like to find visual inspiration from the past (doens’t mean I like to live in the past just to clarify,) and part of it is that I’m a very practical person who don’t like to waste things and try to find maximum value in the items that already exist in people’s life.

So this incredible houndstooth blazer that you see in these pics are from the actual 80s, worn by Anna’s mom when she was in high school. I’m amazed at the quality and how it was able to hold its shape through out the years. Paired with those loose fitted cords, and the scrunchies, you get this incredible 80s inspired look.
